About the event

Every year, the Hudson River supports the epic migration of iconic fishes like the Atlantic sturgeon, American eel, striped bass, American shad and shimmering schools of river herring – all on their journey to spawn, just as they have for centuries. This June, their incredible odyssey will surface in a whole new way!
On Saturday, June 14 Green Feather is thrilled to work with Riverkeeper on the first annual Fish Migration Celebration, a fun and beautiful day where art and advocacy set sail together! A whimsical flotilla of artist-designed boats, inspired by the fishes themselves, will trace their path upriver, turning the water into a moving masterpiece. And leading the way? A larger-than-life sturgeon-themed boat designed by Greg Corbino, a breathtaking tribute to one of the river’s most magnificent creatures.
Join Green Feather with our BRAND NEW Sturgeon Parade Puppet created by the Jim Henson Creature Shop.
