About the event
Join Green Feather's crafting team in making a pod of cardboard box whale puppets to parade at the upcoming Living Soils Rising on May 4th . Learn how to transform an everyday cardboard box into a wearable puppet of giant knowledge holders of the ocean. If there's time we'll explore some movement exercises and whale behaviors to explore with your new puppets.
This workshop is for all ages, but PLEASE NOTE that cardboard scissors, box cutters, and hot glue guns will be used.
A parent or guardian must be present with their young person for the duration of the workshop.
Schedule: There will be two identical sessions of the workshop offered
Session A - 4:30pm - 5:50pm
Session B - 6pm - 7:30pm
