Ajijaak On Turtle Island

Ajijaak on Turtle Island tells the story of Ajijaak, a young whooping crane. Separated from her family in a Tar Sands fire, Ajijaak must make her first migration from Wood Buffalo, Canada, down to the Gulf Coast on her own, finding her voice and a family through the interconnectedness of all of creation.

Remember The Way

An all new show developed by Heather Henson connecting audiences to their local body of water. Through song, puppetry, and interactive experience, we learn about the interconnected cycles in the natural world.

Fish Migration Celebration

Green Feather was thrilled to work with Riverkeeper on the first annual Fish Migration Celebration, a fun and beautiful day where art and advocacy set sail together! We at Green Feather Foundation aim to use puppetry to spotlight the beauty in nature we sometimes cannot see, and were so honored to do so with puppetry, flag dancing, music, and parade.

Council of All Beings

The Council of All Beings was a ritual created by Joanna Macy and John Seed in the 1980’s, as a way for people to hear and speak from the voices of the animals, plants and natural beings. This ceremony allows us to give voice to the natural world and empowers humans to learn from our wild kin on how to live in right relationship with the more-than-human world. In community, we created masks and puppets to represent our wild beings which we embodied for our Council of All Beings ceremony.
